ULTRASOUND DEBATE: WHERE DOES OBAMA STAND
The President’s friends at NARAL-ProChoiceAmerica (National Abortion & Reproductive Rights Action League) and the National Women’s Law Center do not like the possibility of any law that offers a woman an opportunity to see her unborn child. They consider it interference. Why? What are they afraid of….loss of business and credibility to name just two reasons. Ultrasounds break through the lies and deception they perpetrate on millions of women, mainly, that it is not a baby.
“The other side has made it pretty clear that this is a strategy to get women to change their minds,” Gretchen Borchelt, senior counsel at the National Women’s Law Center, told FOXNews.com. How is that for some honest, fair-minded, open-hearted discussion on the issue of abortion. The larger question which I am sure will be left unanswered, and most likely unasked, is where does President Obama stand on this issue of providing complete information to a woman before making what he says is a great moral and ethical decision. Does not the woman’s dignity demand that she be given all the information, or should she be treated as intellectually inferior and incapable of making up her own mind, in other words, discriminated against because of her sex.
