Pro-Lifers fought tooth-and-nail to defeat Issue 1 in Ohio which would enshrine abortion into Ohio’s constitution.
But despite their best attempt to stop it – the millions of dollars in blood money that flooded in from other states helped ram through the pro-abortion amendment.
And now a nation is grieving at the horrific details of what Ohio’s new dark reality entails.
Ohio – the “crown jewel” of the abortion lobby
For decades, Ohio was one of the most Pro-Life states in America.
Legislation was signed to protect unborn babies at a detectable heartbeat and outlaw abortion simply because a baby was diagnosed with Down syndrome.
The Buckeye State is known for its conservative Midwestern values (except in urban areas) – and has been a key player in deciding Presidential elections.
But all of that has changed for the worse.
The abortion lobby knew if they could flip Ohio – it would be the ultimate victory and the “crown jewel” in their plan to slaughter unborn babies.
So they started a pro-abortion campaign laced with propaganda knowing if they could scare women they’d win.
And sadly – their dark and devious plan worked – and Issue 1 passed now enshrining abortion into Ohio’s state constitution with 56 percent of voters voting in favor of killing the unborn.
Slaughtering 9-month-old babies
The ramifications of Issue 1 will impact generations to come.
Because abortion is now a “constitutional right” – no matter how many Pro-Life politicians get elected – there’s nothing they can do to change it.
All the Pro-Life laws on the books are eliminated.
And now – if a doctor deems it “necessary” – a pregnant woman in Ohio can slaughter her unborn baby up until birth.
In addition – minor teens are now allowed to abort their babies without parental consent.
It’s absolutely horrifying.
Pro-aborts rejoice more babies will die
As faithful Pro-Lifers mourn the inevitable loss of life that is sure to follow in Ohio – the abortion lobby celebrated the fact more babies will be killed.
Lauren Blauvelt, co-chair of the Ohioans United for Reproductive Rights and Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio said “Today, Ohioans made it clear, abortion is a winning issue, and together we can do anything.”
President Biden jumped in and issued a statement expressing his excitement that Ohio would help carry out his radical pro-abortion agenda and said “Ohioans and voters across the country rejected attempts by MAGA Republican elected officials to impose extreme abortion bans that put the health and lives of women in jeopardy, force women to travel hundreds of miles for care, and threaten to criminalize doctors and nurses for providing the health care that their patients need and that they are trained to provide.”
He continued “This extreme and dangerous agenda is out-of-step with the vast majority of Americans.”
But while the pro-abortion crowd celebrates death – Pro-Lifers continue to grieve at the loss of lives that will impact generations to come.
