A new study proves one out of every three post-abortive women suffer from this devastating issue

The pro-abortion lobby claims abortion is a simple and easy medical procedure with no problems.

But they of course ignore the death that occurs with every abortion, and the medical problems faced by many women.

And now a new study proves one out of every three post-abortive women suffer from this devastating issue.

One out of every three women who has an abortion ends up developing full-blown depression because of the deadly procedure.

The inconvenient truth of abortion

The information is according to a scholarly review of data that tracked post-abortive women across the globe.

This report is just more proof that the scourge of abortion doesn’t just cause the death of innocent babies but has adverse effects on women as well.

This is, of course, something that pro-lifers have known for decades.

But despite all of the growing evidence the pro-abortion lobby refuses to believe the science.

And the information in this latest report flies in the face of the pro-abortionists claims that women are not adversely effected by abortion.

“[T]he occurrence of post-abortion depression was found to be highly prevalent,” concluded the analysis published in BMC Psychiatry.

In the report researchers reviewed 15 studies involving 18,207 post-abortive women globally.

The report states, “Individuals who have undergone an abortion should receive additional care and psychological support from healthcare providers, as well as their spouse, family, and community.”

“The findings revealed that the worldwide prevalence of post-abortion depression was estimated to be 34.5%.”

Normalizing abortion despite the evidence

Planned Parenthood and the pro-abortion mob has tried to normalize abortion with the claim that, “One in four American women will have an abortion by age 45.”

But they are ignoring the proof that experts have found one in three of those women will develop severe depression as a result of their abortion.

And in some countries, the percentage of women who suffer from being depressed after undergoing an abortion is as high as 85%.

But the suffering of women (and of course the death of babies) is of no concern to the pro-abortion zealots whose only goal is more abortions, despite the dangers.

And this report of depression is nothing new.

The authors point out that previous studies found post-abortion depression rates as high as 82.1%.

“Depression is a major public health concern, with women being twice as likely as men to experience depression during their lifetime. Depression is a leading cause of disability worldwide,” the experts explained.

And a 2011 analysis found “a moderate to highly increased risk of mental health problems after abortion.”

Even pro-abortion women suffer from this as well.

According to a survey from earlier this year, 55% of women who call themselves “pro-choice” struggle emotionally after an abortion, and one-third of women (34%) who had a chemical abortion “reported an adverse change in themselves, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and thoughts of suicide.”

The undeniable proof of post-abortion depression in women across multiple nations and cultures has led the abortion industry to claim its not from the abortion but rather from “abortion stigma.”

But pro-life advocates say the facts speak for themselves.

“When the abortion industry peddles the lie to a mom that killing her unborn child will save her future, what they are really asking that mother to do is to kill her unborn child and part of herself,” Mary Szoch, director of the Center for Human Dignity at Family Research Counciltold The Weekly Stand.

“It is tragic that so many women and their children have been victims of the abortion industry,” said Szoch to the Stand. “It is important that post-abortive mothers know God’s mercy is unfathomable, and it is stronger than our misery and sin. All anyone has to do is to open their heart to the Lord and ask for His healing love. He will take care of everything else.”
