The pro-abortion lobby has infiltrated almost every aspect of American life.
This even includes American churches and the pulpit.
And a Presbyterian Pastor left jaws on the floor when she defended killing her two babies with this shocking claim.
“I felt God’s presence with me as I made the decision”
In a recent sermon, a Presbyterian pastor disgustingly claimed she felt God’s presence with her as she killed two of her own children.
Rev. Rebecca Todd Peters is an Elon University professor and a radical pro-abortion activist.
For years she has given speeches and written books and articles about why she believes it is moral and ethical to kill unborn babies in abortions.
She also happens to be an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), showing just how far into the depths of depravity the PCUSA has fallen.
And in a recent sermon at The Community Church of Chapel Hill Unitarian Universalist in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, she defended having her own unborn babies killed as an act of birth control.
Proving just how committed to murder she truly is, the “good Reverend” wore a pink Planned Parenthood stole during her sermon.
A sermon in which she also claimed the Lord was with her when she ended their lives and that her actions were not sinful.
“I felt God’s presence with me as I made the decision to end two pregnancies and I felt no guilt, no shame, no sin,” she told the church on July 9.
She further claimed, “A forced pregnancy or birth is not holy.”
Peters also apparently has thrown out all Biblical teachings about respect for life, not murdering or killing people, and the very value God places on human beings.
After she falsely claimed “the Bible doesn’t say anything about abortion,” she appeared to describe her own statement as “astonishing because the Bible has a lot to say about how people are to live what is and isn’t allowed. […] [B]ut to reiterate, it says nothing about abortion.”
Clearly Rev. Peters needs to return to whatever Bible college gave her a ministry degree and brush up on her Bible reading.
Follow the science except when it comes to biology
Peters also denied the scientific fact that an unborn baby is a human being starting at conception.
“The lens through which anti-choice Christians read the Bible is the theological belief that from the moment of fertilization, a zygote is biologically, morally, ontologically and in every other way indistinguishable from a baby,” she said.
And then, to make sure everyone knew exactly how pro-abortion she really is, Peters said she believes abortion for any reason is morally justified, and the idea that abortion is wrong is “rooted in Christianity’s patriarchal vision of womanhood.”
Unfortunately, Peters is not alone.
Several mainline Protestant denominations have abandoned the Biblical commandment to not murder and other scripture that emphasizes the value of unborn babies.
They are ignoring God’s abhorrence at the shedding of innocent blood by endorsing the pro-abortion industry’s murderous actions.
In fact, last year the PCUSA passed a resolution supporting “reproductive justice” and “abortion care,” and there has been similar support for abortion from the United Church of Christ and United Methodist Church.
At odds with their self-described Christianity
While across the U.S. Christians are working to save unborn babies, these false Christians are using the power of the pulpit to promote the murder of innocent children.
While true Christians are working through pregnancy centers, maternity homes and many other charities, to provide baby supplies, housing, financial assistance, parenting classes and more to help millions of mothers and babies thrive, these pro-abortion zealots are using their churches to convince women to kill their own children.
There was a time when every protestant church opposed the mass murder of the nation’s most vulnerable, but too many are willing to sacrifice faith and lives at the altar of Planned Parenthood.
