Chiefs’ Harrison Butker made one claim that has Joe Biden and radical leftists playing defense

The Kansas City Chiefs’ kicker Harrison Butker has made no secret of his conservative, pro-life, pro-faith, pro-family views.

But, fresh off another Super Bowl victory, Butker has gone even further in his defense of conservative values.

And the Chiefs’ Harrison Butker made one claim that has Joe Biden and radical leftists playing defense.

Kansas City Chiefs star kicker Harrison Butker recently delivered another strong pro-life statement in an interview with Catholic TV network EWTN

Our society’s greatest victims

Butker went so far as to point out that abortion creates “the greatest victims of our society.”

During the interview, Butker recalled his trip to Washington, D.C., where he delivered a strong pro-life statement at the White House when the Chiefs went there to celebrate their Super Bowl win last year.

Butker wore a tie with the slogan “Vulnerari Praesidio” on it.

Vulnerari Praesidio is a Latin term meaning “Protect the most vulnerable.”

The kicker’s tie also featured a pin in the shape of a tiny pair of an infant’s feet, the universal symbol of the pro-life movement.

The Super Bowl winner told EWTN he felt it necessary to stand up for the unborn in that very public arena.

“The unborn, to me, are the greatest victims of our society,” Butker told EWTN. “They don’t have a voice. They don’t necessarily look like humans. They’re not very big. They can’t fight for themselves. There’s not a lot of people that are fighting for them.”

A great atrocity occuring

“And I just think it’s a great atrocity that’s occurring in this country with massacring the unborn. I felt like there’s no better place to send this message than to the masses and to represent the unborn at a place like the White House where, unfortunately, their voice is not heard.”

While Butker strongly defends his actions for last year’s Super Bowl White House visit, and standing up for the preborn, he told EWTN he currently has no plans to make any such statements if the team visits the Biden White House this year to celebrate their Super Bowl 58 win.

With their win this year, the Chiefs became the first NFL team to win two consecutive Super Bowl championships since the New England Patriots did so back in 2005.

While not explaining why he was not planning on another pro-life statement at the White House, most observers believe it is out of loyalty to his team.

One pro-life activist said he understands Butker’s decision, “Harrison Butker is a team player, and while he personally gives all the glory to God and is not afraid to stand up and speak out, he wants this year’s celebration to focus solely on the Kansas City Chiefs.”

Butker clearly is not afraid to speak out, he made news recently when he spoke out against a funeral for an atheist, transgender activist that was held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City.

Butker said the ceremony was a travesty that was meant to openly “make fun of our Lord.”
