Chuck Schumer’s top lieutenant just made one promise that has the Abortion Lobby licking their chops

Control of the entire federal government is up for grabs this fall.

The Abortion Lobby is preparing to spend hundreds of millions of dollars over the next six months.

And Chuck Schumer’s top lieutenant just made one promise that has the Abortion Lobby licking their chops.

Most Americans are focused squarely on the upcoming rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

But the White House is not the only important branch of the federal government up for grabs this fall.

Control of the U.S. House and U.S. Senate are also on the line.

Republicans currently hold a slim majority in the House while Democrats enjoy a razor-thin majority in the Senate.

Of the 34 Senate seats up for election this fall, 23 of them are held by Democrats.

Since Joe Biden has no record to run on, he is determined to make abortion the central focus of the election.

But Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer just went all-in on the abortion issue as well.

“Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is planning to zero in on reproductive rights next month — potentially forcing Republicans to take tough votes on issues such as contraception and in vitro fertilization,” Axios reported. “The move is meant to tap into the potency of abortion rights as a voter-turnout generator for Democrats five months from Election Day,” Axios continued. “It’s timed to roughly coincide with the two-year anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade, on June 24.”

Chuck Schumer’s number-three in the Senate, Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Patty Murray (D-WA), Bernie Sanders (D-VT), and a small handful of other members are currently working on the plan behind the scenes.

We are certainly going to be talking a lot about [abortion],” Stabenow said.

And Senator Ben Ray Lújan (D-NM) echoed her words and told reporters, “I imagine that there’ll be some more policy legislation that will be discussed — whether it’s on the floor or through committee gatherings.”

Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) is in one of the most competitive Senate races in the country this fall.

Pennsylvania could determine who controls both the White House and the Upper Chamber.

And Casey quickly announced his support for Schumer’s plan to push the abortion issue.

“I think it’s going to be a significant issue in all these races, including mine,” Casey said. “It’s a major dividing line between the two parties.”

Democrats believe the abortion issue saved the day for them in 2022.

And they’re all-in on making abortion be the top issue of the election.

More than a dozen states have initiatives on the ballot to enshrine abortion-on-demand into state law.

And after not much has happened in the Senate over the past year, Chuck Schumer is planning to move pro-abortion bills in June in hopes of making it a top issue in House and Senate races across the country.

As Democrats are rallying together in support of abortion-on-demand, Republicans are under pressure from the establishment to compromise on abortion.
