CNN’s Jim Acosta abruptly ends interview after this well-known pro-lifer dropped a truth bomb about dangerous abortion pills

Democrats view abortion as a sacred right.

They’ll say or do anything to keep the abortion mills operating in America.

But CNN’s Jim Acosta abruptly ended an interview after this well-known pro-lifer dropped a truth bomb about dangerous abortion pills.

This November will be the first Presidential election where abortion emerged as one of the top issues.

Democrats have been pushing to federally legalize abortion-on-demand ever since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022.

In states with abortion bans on the books, Democrats try to get around the law by expanding access to the abortion pill mifepristone.

Democrats frequently claim that mifepristone is 100% safe for pregnant women to use for an abortion.

But this is patently false.

Abortion pills are dangerous.

According to recent data from the state Department of Health, complications from abortions have tripled in the last five years, coinciding with a rise in chemical abortions from 38 percent to 55 percent of all statewide abortions.

As Fox News reported, “the Supreme Court ruled Thursday that doctors in Idaho must be allowed to provide emergency abortions despite the state’s near-total ban, in order to comport with the federal law that requires emergency rooms to give ‘stabilizing treatments’ to patients in critical condition.”

“The court also recently ruled against a challenge to the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) regulatory approval process of the abortion drug mifepristone,” Fox also reported.

Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins recently appeared for an interview on CNN to discuss abortion pills with host Jim Acosta.

But Hawkins’ facts were too much for Acosta to handle.

“Saying Idaho must allow for abortions to prevent infertility, future infertility, the FDA must now change its policy, too, to do the same,” Hawkins said. “Given their no-test online distribution scheme of chemical abortion pills, which we know harm women’s future fertility, as 15% of women of our population are Rh negative,” she continued. “And there is no [Rh] testing now because of the Biden administration and their FDA on these dangerous chemical abortion pills.”

Hawkins was referring to the fact that Rh negative pregnant women must receive the prophylactic Rhogam before using mifepristone.

Failure to do so could lead to isoimmunization, which is a condition where the mother’s immune system attacks future pregnancies.

But Acosta fired back and told Hawkins that abortion pills were “safe for women to use.”

Once again, Hawkins gave him a lesson in medical science.

“Ask any woman who is RH negative,” she said. “Ask any woman. Excuse me, ask someone who’s been pregnant, sir. When you’re pregnant, one of the first things they do is they test for RH negative status. Because if you have a miscarriage, if you give birth, if you get in an accident, if you have an abortion, you have to be treated immediately.”

But Acosta refused to accept Hawkins’ facts.

“I’m sorry, mifepristone has been proven to be safe,” he said. “It’s been that way for years.”

He then abruptly ended the interview.

“But thank you for coming on,” he said. “We appreciate it.”

“No, it hasn’t,” Hawkins said before Acosta cut her microphone off and went to a commercial break.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Hawkins expanded on her warnings about the dangers of abortion pills.

“As in every pregnancy, for the 15% of mothers who have Rh negative blood type, an exchange of blood by birth, by miscarriage, or by abortion can result in deadly antibodies that can leave a woman infertile without immediate care,” she said. “Their fertility is at stake.”

In the Idaho ruling, the Court wrote that protecting a woman’s fertility played a major factor in their decision.

Hawkins said this should mean abortion pills are not allowed.

“If Idaho can be forced to do abortions in emergency rooms to prevent infertility, then the no test, online distribution of chemical abortion pills as set up by the Biden-Harris administration can be stopped for the same reason – impact on fertility,” Hawkins said. “If you drop deadly chemical abortion pills into the mail, without proper screening and follow-up care, women can be left infertile,” she added.

“And at the Supreme Court, infertility matters,” she continued. Not that Jim has the bandwidth for that.
