The radical Left has always used violence as a tool.
Union bosses and radical socialists have even committed mass murder in the attempt to force their views on the world.
Now Democrats’ culture of death in favor of abortion-on-demand has shocking results according to this poll.
One in six Democrats now believes that “force [is] justified to restore abortion rights,” according to a new poll.
A culture of violence and death
These new poll results shine a light on the Left’s growing support for political violence against anyone who disagrees with their radical agenda.
For example, according to the poll, the same percentage of Democrats believe violence is justified to stop Donald Trump from winning in 2024 and believe violence against members of congress is justified to get them to vote their way.
And lest anyone think 16% is not a large number, 16% of Democrats represents some 31 million Americans.
This is an increase from 22 million just three short months ago.
Shockingly, support for violence against Members of Congress began to rise shortly after Republicans took control of the House.
“Public support for the use of force to coerce members of the US Congress grew from 9 percent in January 2023 to 17 percent as of June 26, 2023, effectively doubling. While increasing across the political spectrum, the rise was sharpest among Democrats where it grew by about 2.5 times,” the new poll notes.
That means 44 million Americans are in favor of using domestic terrorism to influence legislation.
Of course, the Left has already engaged in pro-abortion violence.
There have already been more than 67 reported attacks against Pro-Life pregnancy resource centers since the leak of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision last May (a leak that inexplicably remains unsolved).
The attacks have included the vandalism of Republican Congressman Tim Walberg’s Michigan offices and the firebombing of a CompassCare office in New York.
But Pro-Life groups and Members of Congress are not the only ones attacked.
Churches under fire
Churches have also been attacked by violent pro-abortion terrorists.
The Family Research Council has documented a horrifying total of 543 attacks against churches in just the last five years.
This includes 57 assaults on churches by pro-abortion criminals in the first nine months of 2022.
It doesn’t even count the numerous violent attacks by LGBT activists.
And even worse, even Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security is warning that churches face an even higher threat of violence until at least the 2024 election.
The new report points out the growing problem of politically motivated violence, especially by the Left.
Leftist thugs recently threatened to kill and dismember President of the Chino Valley (California) Unified School District Board of Education, Sonja Shaw.
This threat was in response to the school district defying Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom and preventing teachers from hiding a child’s gender transition from his or her parents.
And of course, there was the mass shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville by a woman who identified as transgender, which left six people dead, including three children.
After the radical left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) put the Family Research Council on its “hate list,” a leftist shooter tried to kill FRC’s entire staff.
To the Left, “culture war” means war
Previous polls have also tracked the Left’s support for using violence to achieve their goals.
A 2018 Buckley Institute poll found one-third of college students agreed “physical violence can be justified to prevent a person from using hate speech or making racially charged comments.”
Unfortunately, the survey also points out that a majority of Americans now believe “elections will not solve our most fundamental political and social problems.”
But fortunately there is a growing movement of conservatives, Pro-Lifers, and Christians who are standing up to this violence and letting it be known they will not be bullied into silence.
It’s time for Pro-Life legislators to act as well.
