Joe Biden is illegally forcing Americans to fund abortion tourism and the results threaten national security

The Biden administration is pulling out all the stops to force taxpayers to fund abortions.

They are even using the Department of Defense in their murderous scheme.

Now Joe Biden is illegally forcing Americans to fund abortion tourism and the results threaten national security.

The U.S. Army has become the second branch of the military without a confirmed leader.

All because the Biden administration continues to illegally force American taxpayers to fund abortion tourism for military personnel.

A dangerous first

The Army joins the Marine Corps in not having a Senate-confirmed leader.

This marks the first time in U.S. history two branches of the military will have vacancies at the top.

It’s all because of Joe Biden’s policy to make Americans fund abortion tourism.

To try and stop the illegal taxpayer funding of abortion, Senator Tommy Tuberville made the decision to block all military nominations until the policy was reversed.

But the Biden administration continues forcing Americans to fund abortion.

The media is, of course, attacking Tuberville even though he is a hero to anyone who believes in the Constitution and the sanctity of life.

But Tuberville is standing strong, “I’m not changing my mind.”

The Alabama Republican says he won’t back down until the Biden administration stops forcing Americans to fund abortion tourism.

“I hate to have to do this,” Tuberville said in a recent interview, “But they’re going to listen.”

“They think I’m going to change my mind. I’m not changing my mind,” he said.

While Tuberville has come under increasingly hostile fire from Democrats and some RINOs, he says no amount of lobbying, public pressure or mainstream media criticism will change his mind.

Tuberville refers to the Pentagon’s rule as a “radical plan to facilitate thousands of abortions a year with taxpayer dollars.”

“I sent a letter to [Defense] Secretary [Lloyd] Austin and said, ‘If you do this I’m going to put a hold on all your admirals and generals,’” Tuberville said. “We never heard from him. A few months later they started the new policy. And now six months later here we are.”

“I don’t think they understood I would make this hold permanent,” Tuberville added.

The House GOP joins the fight

Tuberville is not alone.

Recently, House Republicans added an amendment to a defense spending bill to block the abortion tourism policy.

The $886 billion National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2024 passed by a bipartisan vote of 219-210.

The bill now goes to the Senate, where Democrats strongly oppose the Pro-Life provision.

The Biden policy requires U.S. taxpayers to fund travel costs and paid time off for military service members and their families to abort their unborn babies in elective abortions.

In response, House Republicans passed the Jackson-Roy amendment to the NDAA.

The House voted 221-213 in favor of the amendment to the NDAA to ban the Pentagon from paying for expenses related to killing unborn babies.

“My amendment to stop Biden from using the DOD to pay for abortion travel passed. This policy is illegal, and soon, it will be gone. This is a great day for our country,” said Pro-Life Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-TX) after the vote.

Jackson said the Pro-Life amendment “will halt the Biden administration’s illegal and immoral abortion policy” for members of the armed forces and their families.

“Taxpayer funding of travel for an abortion is in fact taxpayer-funded abortion, and this administration has been enacting policies across the government in clear violation of the law,” Jackson said.

Federal law has long prevented the Department of Defense (DOD) from using any funds to perform elective abortions and prevented the DOD from using any of its facilities to provide abortions.

But on October 20, 2022, Biden’s DOD published a memorandum directing the DOD to pay travel and transportation costs for military members and dependents who travel for elective abortions.

They did this even though the federal prohibition against DOD funding of elective abortion clearly extends to funding for any item related to abortion, such as travel and transportation.

Senator Tuberville should be saluted for his efforts, and for standing tough against the pro-abortion onslaught.
