Joe Biden was red with rage after this Judge’s pro-life ruling against the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

The pro-abortion lobby and their Democrat allies are using every dirty trick in the book to increase abortion-on-demand.

But many states are starting to fight back against these assaults on life.

That’s why Joe Biden was red in the face with rage after this Judge’s pro-life ruling against the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

A federal Judge has granted a preliminary injunction in a case brought by Louisiana, Mississippi and a group of Catholics to stop a federal rule that would require them to provide workers who want to get abortions with paid time off and other accommodations.

Not so fast Joe Biden

Judge David Joseph granted the temporary injunction in two consolidated lawsuits.

One case was brought by the attorneys general of Louisiana and Mississippi, and the other by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Catholic University, and two Catholic dioceses.

The lawsuits challenge recent rules by Joe Biden’s Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) that were to take effect in mid-June.

Those rules state that abortions are among pregnancy-related conditions covered by the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, which took effect last year.

Joseph’s ruling prohibits the EEOC from enforcing the abortion provision of its rules against the Catholic plaintiffs and employers located in Louisiana and Mississippi while the case works its way through the courts.

“The District Court applied a common sense interpretation of the plain words of the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act,” Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill said in a statement to The Associated Press.

The ruling was a partial victory for the attorneys general of Louisiana and Mississippi.

They sought a much broader emergency injunction that would have blocked the entirety of the EEOC rules from taking effect across the country.

Of course, pro-abortion groups and the radical Left were not so happy with the ruling.

“The court has left some pregnant workers who need abortion-related accommodations to fend for themselves,” Gaylynn Burroughs, Vice President of Workplace Justice and Education at the NWLC, wrote.

And according to Rachel Shanklin, National Women’s Entrepreneurship Director for Small Business Majority, the limited ruling would still have a huge impact by making it more difficult for women in the workplace to obtain abortions.

“Our research consistently finds that women entrepreneurs said the ability to choose if and when to start a family played a significant role in their ability to advance their careers and launch their small businesses,” Shanklin said in a statement.

Left-wing legal advocacy group A Better Balance’s President Dina Bakst criticized the ruling too, claiming it “disregarded decades of legal precedent” that have included abortion in interpretations of pregnancy-related medical conditions.

The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act passed with bipartisan support in 2022.

But many Republicans who voted for it, including Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy, the bill’s co-sponsor, were upset when Biden’s EEOC claimed the law covered abortions.

This is why Republicans in Congress continue to lose ground.

They vote for poorly written legislation which bureaucrats then use to push their radical left-wing, pro-abortion agenda.

Maybe one day the GOP leadership will finally realize they need to stop supporting big government schemes.
