Chemical abortion drugs now account for more than 50% of all abortions.
But it turns out there are major problems with the way the FDA made them legal.
And Joe Biden’s face turned red with rage when a judge issued this lifesaving injunction against the FDA.
A very good Good Friday
“Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk is saving lives with his decision today, making it a Good Friday indeed,” said Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins.
These words were in response to the news that on Good Friday Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk “halted the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of the abortion pill mifepristone.”
In what was a huge victory for the Pro-Life movement, Judge Kacsmaryk gave the Biden administration seven days to respond to the ban.
In response to the ruling, Hawkins said “Strong evidence indicates that Chemical Abortion Pills are dangerous, exposing women to injury, infertility, death, and abusers who use the drugs against mothers without their knowledge or consent.”
“One of Students for Life of America’s Citizen Petition to the FDA also notes that the environment itself can be harmed by the potential endocrine blockers in the abortion-inducing drugs. Why should we let women die and the environment polluted to help the abortion industry make a fast buck?” she added.
“Today’s decision to stop the sale of deadly Chemical Abortion Drugs represents a milestone for Pro-Life Americans fighting to protect mothers, the preborn, and the environment from deadly pills shoved onto the U.S. market,” Hawkins continued.
Exposing women to injury, infertility, and even death
“U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk’s lifesaving injunction is what the country needs because the Biden Administration’s No Test, Online distribution scheme for Chemicals Abortion exposes women to injury, infertility, death, and abusers who use the drugs against mothers without their knowledge or consent. That should have been enough to block the reckless and negligent policies pushed by Presidents Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and now Joe Biden, which Students for Life of America (SFLA) pointed out in a Citizen Petition to the FDA, calling for restoration of health and safety standards, at the very least,” Hawkins added.
And the Texas ruling is just the first shot in the battle to rein in the deadly abortion drug.
Students for Life Action is already pushing legislation to protect the environment from Chemical Abortion Pill-tainted blood, tissue, and human remains.
In fact, West Virginia is now the first state in the nation to have a bill introduced calling for Red Bag Medical Waste requirements.
And Politico reports, “The next abortion fight could be over wastewater regulation.”
And Hawkins is putting politicians on notice, “Standing strong against reckless No Test, Online Chemical Abortion Pill sales and distribution is a winning issue. Almost 7 in 10 Millennials and Gen Z are more likely to support a candidate who supports laws that require in-person medical care and testing before and after the sale of dangerous Chemical Abortion Pills.”
It’s refreshing to see a no compromise Pro-Life organization that knows how to fight – and beat – the radical pro-abortionists.
