The Biden administration is pushing the envelope to see just how pro-abortion they can be.
And pro-abortion activists are pushing more extreme policies than ever.
Now Kamala Harris is calling pro-life Americans “extremists” and just said two words about abortion that left jaws on the floor.
It began even before the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
The Biden administration began making moves to promote abortion up to and including the day of birth.
Abortion is a “fundamental freedom” according to the Democrats
And Vice President Kamala Harris joined the push by trashing pro-life Americans, calling them “extremists.”
She also drew national scorn and derision for defending abortion as a “fundamental freedom.”
Harris met with leaders from the nation’s most extreme pro-abortion groups, including NARAL and Planned Parenthood to promote the killing of more babies with the dangerous abortion pill.
During the meeting, Harris claimed pro-life Americans who are trying to protect babies from being murdered are “extremists.”
“This is not just an attack on women’s fundamental freedoms. It is an attack on the very foundation of our public health system,” Harris said.
Harris is ignoring the science and the simple fact that killing a baby and injuring a woman in an abortion is the opposite of health care.
Harris also ignores the fact that ending the life of an unborn baby in an abortion denies their fundamental freedom of the right to life that the Constitution protects for everyone.
Abortion pills – the new killer
Harris also ignores how abortion hurts women and how the abortion pills she’s promoting are ravaging the public health system because emergency rooms across the nation are now flooded with women hurt and maimed by the dangerous abortion pill.
And Harris’ meeting to promote the abortion pill comes just weeks after news that the abortion pill killed a young woman in Canada.
Research clearly shows increased serious risks associated with mifepristone, including a first-of-its-kind study, published in November 2021 that found the rate of abortion-related emergency room visits following a chemical abortion increased by more than 500 percent from 2002 through 2015.
And growing evidence shows the abortion drug is certainly not safer than Tylenol, as the pro-abortion movement and some news outlets try to claim.
In fact, it is a study from the pro-abortion research group Gynuity that provides evidence the claim is false.
Millions of unborn babies have been killed in the U.S. alone by the abortion drug mifepristone, or RU-486 since its approval under the Clinton administration.
And today it is used for almost half of all abortions in the United States.
Risks of the abortion pill are fundamentally high
Other recent studies also show the risks of mifepristone are more common than what pro-abortion activists claim.
A recent study by the Charlotte Lozier Institute found as many as one in 17 women require hospital treatment after taking the abortion pill.
The study also found that the rate of abortion-related emergency room visits from women taking the abortion drug increased more than 500 percent between 2002 and 2015.
Another new study by the University of Toronto, “Short-Term Adverse Outcomes After Mifepristone–Misoprostol Versus Procedural Induced Abortion,” published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, found that a shocking one in ten women who took the abortion pill had to go to the emergency room.
But some of these statistics aren’t even new.
A 2009 study in “Obstetrics and Gynecology” found a complication rate of roughly 20 percent for the abortion drugs with hemorrhages and incomplete abortions among the most common complications.
And along with millions of unborn babies’ deaths, the FDA has now linked mifepristone to at least 28 women’s deaths.
They also linked it to some 4,000 serious complications due to the drug.
However, as the numbers were damning to the abortion industry, President Barack Obama ordered the FDA to stop requiring any non-fatal complications from mifepristone be reported.
There are definitely extremists in the abortion debate, they are called Democrats.
