The current Vice President is known for her jackal-like cackle and her many gaffes and missteps.

Some have said her outrageous laughter is to cover up her nervousness over the ridiculous misstatements she knows she is going to make.

Like when Kamala Harris credited a nonexistent federal agency with approving the chemical abortion pill.

To be fair, there are far too many alphabet agencies in Washington, D.C.

What is the Federal Drug Administration?

Some twenty years ago, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) illegally approved the sale and distribution of the chemical abortion drug mifepristone.

The controversial, and by most accounts, blatantly illegal action by the FDA has been fought in court battles ever since.

And recently a federal judge in Texas ruled the FDA did in fact act illegally by approving the drug on the U.S. market and ordered the sale and distribution of the deadly drug be stopped.

The Biden administration appealed, and the Fifth Circuit ruled sale of the drug could continue during the appeals process, but did place strict limits on it.

While the Supreme Court recently ruled the drug must remain available with no restrictions while the Biden administration appeals the ruling, Pro-Life advocates are hopeful the courts will eventually order the FDA to do a full study of the drug before allowing it back on the market.

And clearly some pro-abortion Democrats are worried, as the governors of a number of blue states are using taxpayer dollars to stock up on the drug.

Kamala Harris creates a brand new federal agency

And of course, Kamala Harris decided to weigh in on the issue.

She probably wishes she hadn’t though, as it just turned into another gaffe by the Vice President.

Harris mistakenly said that a government agency called the “Federal Drug Administration” approved the abortion pill mifepristone 20 years ago.

The correct agency is, of course, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

But that didn’t seem to faze Biden’s Vice President.

Harris was being interviewed by Noticias Telemundo’s Vanessa Hauc, and the Vice President spoke about abortion and the changes taking place on the important issue in the U.S.

“Let’s set the scene. Many months ago, the highest court in our land, the United States Supreme Court, took a constitutional right that had been recognized from the people of America – from the women of America – which is the right to make [a] decision about your own body and your own reproductive health,” Harris said.

“The government should not be telling that woman what to do with her body. This evokes, in my mind, very fundamental rights, including the right to freedom for each individual about what is in their best interest,” Harris continued.

Ignoring the deaths caused

The Vice President then turned to mifepristone, a chemical abortion pill approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 2000.

“On the mifepristone issue, it’s politicians finding a court, targeting a specific court that they thought would be helpful to them, to take a medication off the market, which was approved 20 years ago by the Federal Drug Administration,” Harris said.

Well, she is right, it was approved twenty years ago.

And she does have the initials correct, it was the FDA.

The problem is there is no such federal agency called the Federal Drug Administration.

While it may seem like just another gaffe by Harris, the fact that she doesn’t even know the agencies by name is almost as big a concern as her ignorance of science while promoting abortion.
