Kamala Harris rode the struggle bus trying to claim Democrats don’t support abortion until birth

Democrats are stumbling over their own words as they try to rewrite the party’s pro-abortion message.

They are now promoting the message that no Democrat supports abortion until birth.

But Kamala Harris rode the struggle bus trying to claim Democrats don’t support abortion until birth.

It’s hard to prove something when the evidence you do is so overwhelming.

A clear history of support for all abortions

This is especially true in the pro-abortion movement.

Remember when they claimed they wanted abortions to be safe, legal, and rare?

That didn’t last long, now they just want them to be legal.

All of them.

But lately the pro-aborts and their Democrat puppets have been chanting in unison that they do not support abortion up until birth.

This despite the fact Democrats have opposed ANY abortion restrictions for decades.

They have even promoted legislation that would allow for abortions after birth.

Yet even though the proof is there, lately they’ve been realizing the American people overwhelmingly oppose abortion with no restrictions.

So Democrats are trying to rebrand themselves.

Kamala Harris tries to sell it

Vice President Kamala Harris has joined the messaging battle on abortion.

She recently bristled at accusations that Democrats support abortion up to birth.

She flatly rejected that but then flatly declined to specify where the line should be drawn.

“It’s ridiculous,” Harris said in response to GOP claims about Democrat support for abortion. “It’s a mischaracterization.”

“I am being precise. We need to put into law the protections of Roe v. Wade. And that is about going back to where we were before the Dobbs decision.”

Harris made her remarks in a “Face the Nation” interview.

Surprisingly, moderator Margaret Brennan didn’t let Harris get away with avoiding the issue.

She repeatedly grilled Harris about what such action would mean in terms of a limit on the procedure to terminate a pregnancy.

Brennan pointed out that precedents first set in Roe V. Wade allowed for restrictions past “anywhere between 20 to 24 weeks.”

“No, no, no, no, no,” Harris replied. “We need to put back the protections that are in Roe v. Wade into law.”

Harris underscored “we’re not trying to do something new” — and that “the vast majority” of the American people are on her side.

The Communists called this claiming the moral high ground, only on this issue it’s simply not working.

A disgusting legacy of abortion on demand

That’s because Democrats have a long history of both opposing any restrictions on abortion, as well as pushing legislation enshrining no limit abortions into law.

In fact, just since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last year, there have been laws championed by Democrats that have scrapped any and all abortion limits.

For example, Maine Governor Janet Mills signed a bill allowing the procedure at any point in a pregnancy if a doctor deems it medically necessary.

And even as some Democrats claim there is no such thing as a late term abortion, many other Democrats are claiming that in some cases, late-term abortions are medically necessary.

If Democrats are going to try and claim they don’t support abortion until birth, they have better get their stories straight.
