It’s no secret that most colleges today are filled with pro-abortion professors.

And usually, they are allowed to run roughshod over any pro-life students who dare speak up.

But this machete-wielding pro-abortion professor finally lost her job, but not for the reasons you think.

A radical pro-abortion professor who was fired from the School of Visual Arts last year for holding a machete to a man’s neck just lost her most recent job as well.

From pro-abortion thuggery to anti-Jewish radicalism

Shellyne Rodriguez who was fired from her professor’s job for holding a machete to a reporter during a pro-life event, has now been fired from her most recent job at the Cooper Union for sharing anti-Israel propaganda, according to the New York Post.

Rodriguez recently wrote in an email to students that the “Cooper Union has fired me because of a social media post I made about ‘Zionists.'”

She also went on to laughably claim that it was “fascism,” adding that “[y]’all are learning about it in real time.”

In her Instagram post, Rodriguez said she was fired for making “public comments about ‘Zionists.'”

It is unclear which comments were responsible for Rodriguez’s firing as the Cooper Union said it does not comment on personnel matters.

What is clear is that Rodriguez was fired and is no longer listed as an adjunct on Cooper Union’s faculty page.

The New York Post reported that Rodriguez was involved in a CUNY for Palestine panel in January, and she encouraged people to protest landlords and businesses who had ties with Israel.

However, most critics said she espoused blatantly anti-Semitic rhetoric.

Rodriguez even reportedly posted a flyer on Instagram depicting a pro-Israel event, but with cockroaches edited on top of it.

Former Bronx Borough President Rubén Díaz Jr. was one of the participants in the event.

Rodriguez commented about Diaz and said, “Look at this dirty f***ing roach former bronx borough president Ruben Diaz Jr. a Zionist lapdog.”

Jewish students at the Cooper Union were thrilled that Rodriguez was fired.

Jeffrey Lax, a CUNY professor and co-founder of Students and Faculty for Equality at CUNY, said “Jewish students at Cooper Union are very relieved that they fired her.”

“Her comments were really despicable.”

Cursing at pro-life students and wielding a machete

“Normally, I would say I commend the university for taking action against this professor but in this case, how can I possibly say that she did something far worse before they hired her? I mean, she held a knife to a reporter’s neck,” Lax said.

He continued, “They’re not to be commended, they should be ashamed of themselves.”

Lax was referring to a May 2023 incident where Rodriguez held a machete up to a reporter’s neck after he went to her apartment to ask her about her cursing at Hunter College students who were pro-life.

Rodriguez was seemingly not interested in talking about her treatment of pro-life students, and she told the reporter to “[g]et the f*** away from my door or I’m gonna chop you up with this machete.”

The only question now is which college will hire the unhinged pro-abortion activist now.
