Mike Pence is unapologetically Pro-Life and he isn’t afraid to say it.
While many Presidential candidates claim to be “Pro-Life” – their words paint a different picture.
And now Mike Pence just threw down the ultimate challenge for his opponents.
If you’re Pro-Life – prove it
Mike Pence is done with candidates dancing around the issue of life.
Donald Trump claims to be “Pro-Life” – yet attacks Ron DeSantis for signing the Heartbeat Act into law calling it “too harsh.”
But since when is banning abortion at any level “too harsh” for Pro-Lifers?
RINO Nikki Haley still hopes people will believe she’s a “southern conservative” – yet she too has wavered on the issue of life.
So in order to set the record straight – Pence is calling every candidate to prove just how serious they are about protecting life.
Pence’s Pro-Life challenge
Speaking to his base at the Faith and Freedom Coalition annual conference, Pence said “We must not rest and we must not relent until we restore the sanctity of life to the center of American law in every state in this country.”
Pence continued “Every Republican candidate for president should support a ban on abortion before 15 weeks as a minimum nationwide standard.”
While Pence likely will not win the Republican nomination – his message of life is still important.
Perhaps his role in running for President is to challenge other candidates to take a strong stand for life.
DeSantis defends his Pro-Life stance
DeSantis also spoke to the Faith & Freedom Coalition crowd and defended the Florida Heartbeat Act.
“It was the right thing to do,” DeSantis said. “Don’t let anyone tell you it wasn’t.”
Of course – he’s referencing Trump’s attack claiming banning abortion after a detectable heartbeat is “too harsh.”
More than a 15-week federal abortion ban
While banning abortion after 15-weeks is a start – it’s still not far enough.
Killing a baby at seven weeks isn’t any better than waiting until 16 weeks.
Abortion is a violent act that ends the life of a precious baby – and it must be banned at every stage of a woman’s pregnancy.
If a Presidential candidate wants to win the support of the Pro-Life movement – they need to be rock solid on life.
Voters are tired of politicians saying one thing and doing another.
And Pro-Life conservatives have zero patience for candidates who are too afraid to take a stand for life.
With Joe Biden and pro-abortion Democrats working to pass the most extreme anti-life laws America has ever seen, now more than ever Pro-Lifers need to fight back.
Unborn babies can’t yet fight for themselves, so they need courageous leaders to speak up and be their voice.
