Since the Dobbs decision last June, 14 states have already outlawed abortion.

The Pro-Life movement is finally making progress.

But Mitch McConnell’s top strategist just held a closed-door meeting with Republican Senators about how to cancel pro-lifers in 2024.

Republicans massively underperformed in Congressional and gubernatorial races across the country during last November’s Midterm elections.

Chuck Schumer (D-NY) increased his Senate majority to 51 seats while Republicans only won a narrow majority in the House.

The establishment quickly tried to blame the Republican underperformance on the Pro-Life wing of the GOP’s refusal to compromise with Democrats on abortion.

Even conservative voices like Sean Hannity fell for the narrative and encouraged Republican candidates in 2024 to soften their positions on abortion.

Of course, Pro-Life Republicans are not responsible for the dismal performance the Party suffered in 2022.

Most of the Republicans who lost last November lost the trust of voters by backtracking and switching their position on abortion multiple times during the race.

Not only that, but the Democrats support the most extreme position on abortion possible and refuse to budge an inch.

An overwhelming majority of Americans reject the Democrats’ extreme position of taxpayer-funded abortion up until birth for any reason.

But instead of making sure every voter knows the Democrats’ extreme views on abortion, McConnell’s strategist is hoping to convince the GOP to cancel pro-lifers in 2024.

McConnell’s long-time aide and strategist Steven Law presented Republican Senators with alleged evidence that “pro-life” no longer resonated with voters.

“Republican strategists are exploring a shift away from ‘pro-life’ messaging on abortion after consistent Election Day losses for the GOP when reproductive rights were on the ballot,” NBC News reported. “At a closed-door meeting of Senate Republicans this week, the head of a super PAC closely aligned with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., presented poll results that suggested voters are reacting differently to commonly used terms like ‘pro-life’ and ‘pro-choice’ in the wake of last year’s Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, said several senators who were in the room.”

E.V. Osment, the Vice President of Communications for Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, called out the GOP establishment for refusing to fight for the lives of innocent unborn babies.

“The American people deserve to know exactly where we stand and what limits on abortion we support and how we will serve mothers and their children,” Osment said. “The other side refuses to list even a single limit that they will place on abortion, we must contrast our compassionate position with the extreme pro-abortion position used by Democrats.”

Osment said instead of cowering to Democrats, “we need strong leaders who are ready to take up the torch in defending life.”

She cited a poll showing 56% in favor of a federal ban on abortions after 15 weeks.

“Polling indicates that when we are clear about abortion limits, then voters overwhelmingly agree and respond favorably,” Osment added.

The Pro-Life movement is finally winning after the Supreme Court overturned the disastrous Roe v. Wade decision last June.

Now is the time to press forward with laws that save more innocent unborn babies from murder.

But that won’t happen if McConnell and his RINO operatives get their way.
