The House recently passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) with a number of amendments.
One of those bans the Department of Defense from reimbursing travel costs for service members to have an abortion.
But Nancy Mace went on a vulgar tirade over its inclusion that left jaws on the floor.
Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) is a hypocrite of the highest order.
“An a**hole move”
Mace ran for Congress as a Pro-Life Republican but has made it her personal mission to try and derail any attempt to reduce abortion.
And to top it off, despite her profanity-laced rantings about the life issue and her attacks on actual Pro-Life Members of Congress, Mace continues to call herself “Pro-Life.”
Most recently, Mace proved her hypocrisy by voting for the NDAA with the amendment banning taxpayer-funded payment for abortion travel, despite her previously calling the amendment an “a**hole move.”
Republicans included the Pro-Life amendment along with some other amendments including banning the military from funding diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, and banning Pride flags.
While Mace has repeatedly urged her party to take a pro-abortion position on abortion, she doesn’t always even follow her own misguided, pro-murder advice.
Her vote for the NDAA was no exception.
“We should not be taking this vote, man”
According to Politico, Mace went on another of her infamous profanity-fueled tirades as the NDAA vote approached.
“We should not be taking this vote, man. F***,” she reportedly told her staff in an elevator in reference to the anti-abortion amendment. It’s an a**hole move, an a**hole amendment.”
Just hours later, however, Mace joined with her party and voted to include the amendment in the defense budget.
Mace once again tried to have it both ways, telling Politico, “I’m all for having these conversations and debates, but doing so as part of a bill which could jeopardize our national security is wrong. Traditionally the NDAA is bipartisan legislation. This year’s bill could be historically partisan.”
The RINO Congresswoman is famous for trying to work both sides of the issue while telling her mostly Pro-Life constituents that she remains Pro-Life.
Even the radical leftist New Republic understands her duplicity saying of her actions on the NDAA, “But it’s an even clearer sign of how untrustworthy Mace is.”
“The South Carolina representative has repeatedly urged her party to move towards the center, and not just on abortion. She talks a good talk, but she has yet to actually walk the walk. If anything, she walks just as far to the right as the colleagues she has been warning,” the New Republic added.
But it’s not just the Left who understands Mace’s hypocrisy.
Pro-Life activists and groups are well aware of Mace’s complete transformation into a pro-abortion radical while at the same time she tries to convince her constituents she is a Pro-Life conservative.
Mace could find herself in a problematic situation next year as she tries to win reelection in a Pro-Life district.
The only question is will some of the “Pro-Life” groups give her a pass simply because she is a Republican?
