From celebrating abortion to indoctrinating children with the Left’s woke gender ideology, traditional values are under attack in America.
Even holiday parades and festivities are no longer family friendly.
And One Million Moms just issued a warning about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade that every parent needs to hear.
The group One Millions Moms is a division of the American Family Association dedicated to fighting against the exploitation of children by the entertainment media.
According to their website, the goal is to “give moms an impact with the decision-makers and let them know we are upset with the messages they are sending our children and the values (or lack of them) they are pushing.”
And with the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade just around the corner, One Million Moms is sounding the alarm and warning parents that “the non-binary and transgender extravaganza on display this Thanksgiving will be brought to you by Macy’s during their annually sponsored Thanksgiving Day Parade.”
One Million Moms explains that Justin David Sullivan, “who personally identifies as non-binary,” is featured this year in the Romeo & Juliet parade performance.
Sullivan refused to attend this year’s Tony Awards because the awards were divided into the normal gender categories of male and female and thus were not “inclusive” enough for him.
“Performances showcased in the parade will include music from two Broadway musicals, & Juliet and Shucked, both of which feature transgender and non-binary performers in major roles,” One Million Moms wrote.
One Million Moms created a petition calling on parents around the world to boycott the parade until it is once again a family friendly event.
“The non-binary and transgender extravaganza on display this Thanksgiving will be brought to you by Macy’s during their annually sponsored Thanksgiving Day Parade,” the petition from One Million Moms reads. “Unless they are forewarned about it, this year’s holiday parade will potentially expose tens of millions of viewers at home to the liberal LGBTQ agenda.”
Newsweek reached out to One Million Moms for a comment.
“Our One Million Moms ‘Say No to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade’ petition has over 24,000+ signatures already and is quickly picking up momentum,” Director of One Million Moms Monica Cole responded. “Conservatives have signed urging Macy’s to no longer push the LGBTQ agenda in the name of entertainment,” she continued in the statement. “By including non-binary performers, potentially exposing millions of viewers to this liberal nonsense, Macy’s is leaving conservative families with no other choice than to not watch this parade and no longer patronize their stores either.”
Cole went on to point out how the parade takes place during “primetime” but is no longer family friendly due to the LGBTQ+ agenda being pushed.
“This holiday tradition is no longer family-friendly and pushing the gay agenda during primetime is completely unnecessary,” Cole said. “Our 1MM pledge is picking up traction as conservative and mainstream media and even individual social media coverage increases to warn parents of the indoctrination that will occur during this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade,” she continued. “The petition warning will only gain speed as Thanksgiving Day approaches.”
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade has been a tradition in New York City since it first took place in 1924.
Hundreds of thousands of people line the streets each year for the Parade while millions of Americans gather around the television with family and friends to watch the event while preparing dinner.
But the woke Left ruins everything.
And this year’s parade looks to be a celebration of the LGBTQ+ agenda.
