South Carolina’s Heartbeat Bill went into effect . . .
. . . and Planned Parenthood is downright terrified.
And now Planned Parenthood is devastated the Heartbeat Act will put them out of business for good.
Abortions down 70 percent
South Carolina Citizens for Life (SCCL) is located right across the street from Planned Parenthood.
SCCL knows firsthand the death and devastation that occurs at abortion giants like Planned Parenthood.
But thanks to the Heartbeat Act – that stops now.
As it turns out, the Heartbeat Act is saving lives – more than anyone ever expected.
SCCL Executive Director Holly Gatling released a press release with incredible statistics.
“Less than 24 hours after the South Carolina Supreme Court upheld the Fetal Heartbeat and Protection from Abortion Act, abortions dropped by 70 percent at Planned Parenthood across the street from the South Carolina Citizens for Life office,” Gatling wrote.
Praise the Lord!
More good news in South Carolina
Other Pro-Life organizations are also praising the Heartbeat Act.
Mark Baumgartner, President of a sidewalk counseling group called A Moment of Hope, also expressed encouraging news out of South Carolina.
“Today was the first full abortion day since the new Heartbeat Law went into effect. Praise the Lord with us that abortions were down 70% from normal in Columbia,” Baumgartner said.
“We typically have been seeing 20 abortions and today we saw only 6! 13 clients arrived, 6 left before an abortion and another dame on the Ultrasound RV and decided to keep her baby,” Baumgartner continued.
Planned Parenthood is finished for good
Thanks to the new Heartbeat Act, Planned Parenthood will be forced to shut their doors for good.
State Rep John McCravy said “The heartbeat law is clear. If Planned Parenthood wants to kill babies at four months, somebody is going to jail,” reported The Post and Courier.
Since abortions are banned after six weeks after a detectable heartbeat, abortion giants like Planned Parenthood who can’t wait to sink their deadly claws into pregnant moms will be stopped.
Doctors who violate the new South Carolina law can be fined $10,000 and spend up to two years in jail – and lose their physician’s license.
With such strong consequences, most doctors won’t risk facing such penalties – though there will likely be some abortion “vigilantes” who will continue killing babies.
The Heartbeat Act does save lives – and every state must work to ensure similar legislation is passed.
But the fight for life is far from over.
As new Pro-Life laws are passed, Planned Parenthood continues to challenge these life-saving laws by filing frivolous lawsuits.
Pro-Lifers must keep the pressure on politicians to not give up or give in to the abortion lobby.
And now more than ever, Pro-Lifers must each do their part to protect life.
Pro-Life Press will keep you up-to-date on any developments to this ongoing story.
