Pro-life pregnancy centers provide invaluable support to moms in need of support.
The centers often work with struggling mothers that may have felt abortion was their only option.
And now, these pro-life pregnancy centers are receiving some much-needed relief after a devastating 2024.
The pro-abortion Left hates life-affirming pregnancy centers.
For one, the fact that these centers exist dispels the leftist lie that pro-lifers are just pro-birth, and don’t care about babies after they are born.
These centers provide much-needed help for women in difficult situations to care for their babies.
The centers also expose the truth about abortion and the babies that are saved means less cash in the abortion industry’s pockets.
Democrat-controlled states try to regulate pro-life pregnancy centers out of existence.
And following the Dobbs decision, dozens of pro-life pregnancy centers faced vandalism and arson attacks from pro-abortion radicals.
The pro-abortion Left’s attacks on pregnancy centers shows that they don’t really want struggling mothers to have a choice to keep their babies.
In addition to all the attacks they have had to face from the pro-abortion Left, recently, some pregnancy centers found themselves devastated by hurricanes.
Pro-life pregnancy centers in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee were impacted by hurricanes Helene and Milton.
Many of these centers were forced to cancel fundraisers due to the extensive damage caused by the hurricanes.
Thankfully, the pro-life organization Heartbeat International stepped up to help the affected pregnancy centers.
The group raised funds to help the centers through its Helping Affiliated Life-affirming Organizations (HALO) initiative.
The group raised $50,000 to help pro-life pregnancy centers in the states affected by the hurricanes.
“The remarkable outpouring of generosity donated to and distributed through the HALO fund, exemplifies the strength of our shared mission and the unwavering commitment to life-affirming care, even in the face of adversity,” said Heartbeat International Vice President of Ministry Services Tracie Shellhouse in an article of Pregnancy Help News.
Thanks to generous donors, these pro-life pregnancy centers will be able to continue their efforts to provide support for mothers in need.
The centers offer financial support and parenting classes to help mothers choose life.
In some cases, the centers continue to provide support for years after a baby is born.
A Boston mother shared her story in which a pregnancy center that she received help from sent her son Christmas presents in 2022.
“For a mother, there’s nothing quite as emotional as watching your child open his first present ever on Christmas morning, when just days prior you thought you wouldn’t be able to provide one,” wrote the mother in an op-ed for The Federalist. “I owe it all to my local pregnancy resource center.”
Smith was homeless and unemployed, and felt that abortion was her only option before she received help from the center.
Pro-life pregnancy centers are doing the Lord’s work, and no doubt countless babies have been saved thanks to them.
Pro-Life Press will keep you up-to-date on any developments to this ongoing story.
