Taxpayers were downright furious once they learned how local politicians were using their money

Most Americans are fed up with the way their tax dollars are being spent.

But that doesn’t seem to bother most elected officials.

And taxpayers were downright furious once they learned how local politicians were using their money.

In a stunning blow to pro-life efforts in Missouri, the state’s Supreme Court has once again sided with Planned Parenthood, allowing taxpayer funding to continue flowing to the abortion giant despite vehement opposition from state legislators.

The saga began with the state’s 2022 budget bill, which sought to cut off taxpayer funds from Planned Parenthood and its affiliates by stipulating that no Medicaid-covered services would be funded if the provider also performed abortions or was affiliated with an abortion business.

However, a trial judge blocked this provision, citing violations of the state constitution and equal protection rights.

Despite attempts to challenge this decision, the Supreme Court ultimately upheld the ruling, dealing a devastating blow to pro-life advocates across the state.

But the fight against Planned Parenthood’s stranglehold on taxpayer funds doesn’t end there.

Pro-life legislators have vowed to continue the battle, introducing legislation aimed at preventing abortion facilities and their affiliates from receiving Medicaid reimbursements.

Senator Mary Elizabeth Coleman, a staunch defender of life, minced no words in her condemnation of Planned Parenthood’s heinous actions.

“Our tax dollars should not be going to those types of institutions, even if it’s a penny,” she declared, echoing the sentiments of countless Missourians who oppose the use of taxpayer funds to subsidize abortion providers.

Adding fuel to the fire, recent revelations from Project Veritas have exposed Planned Parenthood staffers’ willingness to aid in the trafficking of minors for abortions across state lines.

In a shocking undercover video, staffers were caught on camera facilitating the transport of a 13-year-old girl to Kansas for an abortion without her parents’ knowledge.

The video sent shockwaves through the state legislature, prompting calls for the prosecution of Planned Parenthood and renewed efforts to cut off their funding.

Senator Nick Schroer, a vocal advocate for the sanctity of life, joined Senator Coleman in sponsoring legislation to block Medicaid funding for abortion facilities and their associates.

But perhaps the most damning evidence against Planned Parenthood’s eligibility for taxpayer funds lies in Missouri’s recent victory in the battle to protect preborn children.

Following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Missouri enacted a law prohibiting most abortions, effectively shuttering Planned Parenthood’s abortion services in the state.

Yet, despite this victory, taxpayer dollars continue to flow to the organization, perpetuating the cycle of death and destruction.

As the fight for life rages on in Missouri, pro-lifers across the state are called to action.

It is time to stand firm in defense of the innocent, to demand accountability from our elected officials, and to ensure that taxpayer dollars are never again used to subsidize the abortion industry.

The battle may be far from over, but with unwavering determination and steadfast resolve, victory will be ours.
