The 10th richest woman in America just pledged $1 billion to the Abortion Lobby’s war chest

On the ballot in more than a dozen states, abortion is becoming one of the top issues of the November election.

The Left was already planning to spend millions of dollars to try and make abortion the law of the land in America.

But now the 10th richest woman in America just pledged $1 billion to the Abortion Lobby’s war chest.

One of the unfortunate truths about American politics is that the outcomes of elections are often determined by money.

This is especially true in local and state elections where big money national donors aren’t involved.

And when it comes to money, the Pro-Life community doesn’t come close to the amount of resources enjoyed by the Abortion Lobby.

Billionaire hedge fund investor George Soros has bankrolled many of the Left’s organizations and issue-based campaigns over the past decade.

But the Abortion Lobby just gained a new billionaire supporter to help fund this year’s election efforts across the country.

Melinda Gates is the billionaire ex-wife of Microsoft founder Bill Gates.

Like her ex-husband, Melinda Gates supports the Left’s entire radical agenda.

And Melinda Gates just pledged to spend $1 billion on the abortion issue over the next two years through her new charity called Pivotal Ventures.

$1 billion is roughly $1,369,863 million per day to push the abortion issue for the next two years.

Gates explained her reasoning in an op-ed for the New York Times.

“While I have long focused on improving contraceptive access overseas, in the post-Dobbs era, I now feel compelled to support reproductive rights here at home,” Gates wrote. “For too long, a lack of money has forced organizations fighting for women’s rights into a defensive posture while the enemies of progress play offense,” she continued. “I want to help even the match.”

According to a press release from Pivotal Ventures, the $1 billion will go to far-Left groups like the Center for Reproductive Rights, Collaborative for Gender + Reproductive Equity, The 19th, and the Roosevelt Institute.

And a whopping $200 million will be used “in grants aimed at supercharging the work of organizations that are fighting in the U.S. to advance women’s power and protect their rights, including reproductive freedom.”

“These grants will be structured to provide flexible funding to spend as organizations see fit,” the press release added.

Of course, “reproductive freedom” is code for abortion-on-demand.

And instead of directly using the term “abortion,” Gates went with “the post-Dobbs era” as her code for it.

“As shocking as it is to contemplate, my 1-year-old granddaughter may grow up with fewer rights than I had,” Gates wrote. “Because I have been given this extraordinary opportunity, I am determined to do everything I can to seize it and to set an agenda that helps other women and girls set theirs, too.”

The Abortion Lobby already held a major advantage over Pro-Lifers when it comes to resources.

And now they’re getting $1 billion added to their war chest thanks to Melinda Gates.

But Pro-Life Americans can make up for the shortfall through hard work and dedication.

That’s why it’s critical for Pro-Life Americans to knock on doors, make phone calls, and engage in other activities to help defeat the Abortion Lobby this fall.

Pro-Life Press will keep you up-to-date on any developments to this ongoing story.
