This year is the 52nd annual March for Life, and the 3rd since Roe v. Wade was overturned.
The March will be a mourning of lives still being taken but a celebration of victories for life.
And the March for Life is set to kick off with some major GOP leaders slated to speak.
The March for Life Education and Defense Fund recently announced the speakers for the 52nd annual March for Life.
Ron DeSantis a major addition to the March
The 52nd annual March for Life is the world’s largest annual human rights demonstration.
This year’s March is kicking off as this article goes to press.
Among the speakers announced for this year’s March is Florida Republican Governor and former Presidential candidate Ron DeSantis.
Other announced speakers include U.S. Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ); Bethany Hamilton, professional surfer, mother, and pro-life advocate; Josiah Presley, Abortion Survivor; Lila Rose, President of Live Action; Beverly Jacobson, CEO of Mama Bear Care; and Jennie Bradley Lichter, President-Elect of the March for Life.
This year the theme for the March is, ‘Life: Why we March’ and the focus of the March will be on returning to pro-life roots.
According to The March for Life Education and Defense Fund, this year’s goal is to “acknowledge the humanity of each individual person, while also highlighting the need to protect and support both mother and child through the thousands of resources available to them.”
“Our goal this year is to remind and reignite everyone — politicians, legislators, families, and women – in the truth that every life, unborn and born, has inherent dignity, meaning, and value, and as such is always worth fighting for. Our speakers will serve as witnesses to emphasize the joy and beauty of life, and the dedication of the pro-life movement.”

Rev. Dr. Matthew Harrison, President of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod
Hannah Lape, student and President for the Wheaton College Voice for Life
Also, the renowned Christian band ‘Unspoken’ will perform leading up to the Noon rally and Australian singer and songwriter Julie Stone will perform the National Anthem.
This year’s March follows closely on the heels of Donald Trump’s inauguration as the nation’s 47th President.
And President Trump has already given pro-lifers much to cheer about in less than a week in office.
