The most premature baby ever born in South Africa just reached a milestone that the Abortion Lobby will hate

Abortionists are always looking for any type of excuse they can use to convince a woman to terminate her pregnancy.

They often use a prenatal diagnosis to recommend an abortion.

But the most premature baby ever born in South Africa just reached a milestone that the Abortion Lobby will hate.

The Democrats’ extreme position on abortion was on full display throughout the entire election.

Democrats like Kamala Harris believe abortion should be legal, unrestricted, and performed up until birth.

In 2019, Kamala voted against advancing the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act in the Senate.

The bill mandates medical assistance for babies who survive a botched abortion.

She also voted against advancing the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act in 2020.

Of course, the Democrats and the media like to claim that late-term abortions rarely take place.

But this is a lie.

According to data from the CDC, 0.9 percent of abortions – roughly one out of 100 – occur after the 21st week of pregnancy when a child is viable outside of the womb.

Nine states and Washington, D.C. place no time limit on abortion.

But the story of 13-year-old South African Allegra Lategan shows the evils of late-term abortions.

Lategan was born at only 22 weeks gestation in 2011.

She was the length of a pen.

After birth, she faced several challenges for staying alive.

“When Baby Allegra was born at 22 weeks and 4 days, all that the medical staff could do was to keep the baby breathing and keep her safe,” Growing Your Baby reported. “Doctors in South Africa therefore kept her in a ziplock bag for the first three days of her life and ensured that the tiny miracle survived.”

“Baby Allegra Lategan weighed only 553 grams at birth and that included the weight of the many tubes passing in and out of her body,” Growing Your Baby wrote. “Her skin was paper thin and to keep the fragile body safe and moisturized, doctors at the Netcare Blaauwberg Hospital in Capetown decided to keep her inside a ziplock bag for the first three days.”

But she survived and today is a happy 13-year-old girl.

“We’d ask ourselves, ‘Will she be able to walk, to speak? Will her brain develop to the point where she can take in information and learn?’” her mother, Chantal, told reporters. “But, thankfully, it all worked out.”

Allegra is a great student who has won several awards.

“Allegra received a medal along with a certificate at the school’s prize-giving ceremony,” her mother said. “She received it for character and leadership qualities, she also received a special award for Afrikaans as a first language.”

Ultimately, her mother said Allegra’s story “is one of hope.”

According to the Daily Signal, 5,600 babies like Allegra were put to death by abortionists in 2021.

That’s over 5,600 lives in one year that were taken at the hands of the abortionists.
