If the abortion industry has their way – life-saving crisis pregnancy centers will be boarded up and closed forever.

A shocking new bill passed both chambers of a state legislature and is on its way to the Governor’s desk for his signature.

And if this devastating new bill is signed into law, it may end up shutting down crisis pregnancy centers for good.

Pro-abortion politicians in Illinois want to keep abortions flowing

In Illinois, there are no restrictions on abortion before “fetal viability.”

Meaning – a pregnant mom can kill her six-month-old unborn baby if she wants to.

State Medicaid already funds abortion – and private health insurance plans are also required to cover this deadly procedure.

While Illinois is clearly already a strong pro-abortion state – abortion activists want to take things even further.

They know Pro-Life crisis pregnancy centers help save babies’ lives as many women who visit these life-saving centers end up choosing life.

So in a desperate move to shut down all crisis pregnancy centers for good – the Illinois state legislature passed a dangerous new bill.

Amending The Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act

Abortion thugs in Illinois claim crisis pregnancy centers are dangerous because they “mislead” moms who want to get abortions.

They claim Pro-Lifers at these pregnancy centers discourage women from getting abortions by committing “deceptive” and “fraudulent” practices.

To shut down crisis pregnancy centers, SB 1909 was passed by both chambers in the state legislature and amended the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act to include crisis pregnancy centers.

Crisis pregnancy centers are classified in the bill as a “limited services pregnancy center” since they don’t provide abortions.

The legislation reads these pregnancy centers shall not “engage in unfair methods of competition or unfair or deceptive acts or practices.”

Apparently telling women to choose life “conceals” a woman’s right to choose abortion.

The bill goes on to say crisis pregnancy centers are not allowed to “interfere with or prevent an individual from seeking to gain entry or access to a provider of abortion” and may not “induce an individual to enter or access the limited services pregnancy center.”

But what is unfair?

Is it “unfair” to tell a woman that she doesn’t have to get an abortion and to direct her to resources to help her during her pregnancy?

Will crisis pregnancy centers be accused of “deceptive practices” for providing life-saving ultrasounds for pregnant moms?

Or warning them about the dangers of abortion?

It seems like “unfair methods of competition” or “unfair and deceptive acts or practices” are left up to interpretation.

A dangerous blueprint

Pro-abortion states are working in tandem with each other to pass wicked anti-life laws that guarantee more babies will die.

When one state has success with ramming through a pro-abortion law . . .

. . . the abortion lobby throws in millions of dollars and sends over their troops to replicate their most recent pro-abortion win.

This bill is expected to be signed by Illinois pro-abortion Governor J.B. Pritzker who already pledged to codify abortion in his state.

Pritzker is the same politician who said “abortion will always be safe and legal here in Illinois” and that Illinois will remain “a beacon of hope in an increasingly dark world” for women seeking to kill their babies.

It looks like Pritzker is eager to keep his deadly promise.
