Not everyone in Hollywood is a raving Leftist.
And sometimes the conservative Hollywood stars are even willing to speak out about their views.
That’s why this leading Hollywood actress just ripped the Democrats on abortion, and you won’t believe what she said.
Actress and well-known pro-life advocate Patricia Heaton blasted Democrats for embracing a “barbaric” platform that advocates for the murder of unborn babies through all nine months of pregnancy.
Not a political statement
Heaton, a well-known Christian and a very rare pro-life celebrity in Hollywood, is most famous for her roles in “Everybody Loves Raymond” and “The Middle.”
She is also known for her outspoken pro-life Christian views.
But Heaton says she is not political at all.
“I don’t understand why pro-life people want to know if they are ‘welcome’ to join the Democrat Party,” Heaton wrote on Twitter.
“Why would any civilized person want to support a barbaric platform that champions abortion for any reason through all nine months funded by taxpayers?”
But the actress also said she advocates for life through “philanthropy only.”
In fact she said she did not even vote in 2020 because she didn’t like either choice.
Heaton may not be political, but she is exactly right that the Democrat Party has become so extreme in its abortion stance that its become out of touch with the average American voter.
In fact, in early 2020 two Democrat presidential candidates, Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg, both publicly refused to welcome pro-life Democrats into the party.
It’s only gotten worse and more radical since then.
Democrats want no restrictions
And increasingly, the Democrat Party has aligned itself with the billion-dollar abortion mill industry and its radical agenda.
Now all top Democrat candidates must support abortions without restriction through all nine months of pregnancy and want to force taxpayers to pay for them.
The party platform contains a radical pro-abortion agenda as well.
In 2012, Democrat leaders actually removed the word “rare” from their abortion platform, and, then in 2016, added language calling for taxpayer-funded abortions.
Unfortunately for the Democrats, that is not where most voters stand on the abortion issue.
Two new polls show strong public opposition to abortion on demand.
According to a new Marist poll, 62% of Americans say that if the Supreme Court revisits Roe v. Wade it should allow states to determine restrictions or even make abortion illegal.
Only 33% of Americans say abortion should be legal any time without restriction.
The Gallup poll found that 58% of Americans are not satisfied with current abortion laws, and even more want stricter laws that limit or ban abortions.
Heaton may be in the clear minority in Hollywood, but her pro-life views are in line with the majority of Americans.
Now the question is, will Republicans realize this before it’s too late?
Or will they continue down their path of sell-out and compromise on the issue of life like Nancy Mace wants?
