Women and babies are the big losers of this devastating Supreme Court ruling

After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, hopes were high the court would continue to protect innocent babies.

But that’s not been the case.

And women and babies are the big losers of this devastating Supreme Court ruling.

Currently, chemical abortions account for over half of all abortions in the U.S.

From abortion mills to abortion pills

As more and more states either ban, or put severe restrictions on abortion-on-demand, brick and mortar abortion mills are being forced to close.

To keep their blood money flowing, abortionists started turning to another, more sinister way to rake in cash for dead babies.

They turned to abortion through the mail.

Specifically, through the use of chemical abortion pills.

There were protective measures put in place in 2000 when the drugs were introduced on the U.S. market with a black box warning.

But then the FDA rushed approval of the deadly drug through on a technicality.

In essence, the FDA claimed pregnancy was an “illness.”

In fact, the only way the FDA could approve the chemical abortion drug first created in France was to use its accelerated drug approval authority thus labeling pregnancy an illness.

Then they had to claim that the dangerous chemical abortion drugs provided a therapeutic benefit for that illness.

Ignoring science and law

The FDA, to make the drugs available, had to disavow science and the law.

The fact is, the FDA never studied the safety of the drugs despite being required to do so by federal law.

And the FDA ignored the substantial evidence that chemical abortion drugs cause more complications than surgical abortions.

After years of loosening the restrictions on the sale and distribution of the dangerous abortion drugs, they became available online and even through the mail.

But in a recent case in Texas, a federal judge ruled the FDA had acted illegally and ordered the sale and distribution of the drugs halted.

The Biden administration appealed and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals gave them a partial victory.

The Appeals Court ruled the sale of the drugs could resume during the full appeals process, but then they also put severe restrictions on the dangerous drug.

Ignoring science and law yet again

But the Supreme Court ruled, in an expedited ruling, that the case should proceed through the normal appeals process and that while it does, the sale and distribution of the drug could continue, with no restrictions.

Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins condemned the decision to throw away the protective measures put in place in 2000 when the drugs were introduced on the U.S. market with a black box warning.

“It’s a tragedy that the Supreme Court is allowing Chemical Abortion Pills to stay on the market without the health and safety standards put in place in 2000 to protect women from injury, infertility, death, and abusers who use the drugs on mothers without their knowledge or consent,” Hawkins explained.

“This makes Students for Life of America’s campaign for Environmental Justice for the Preborn even more important. We’ve had more than 20 years of government sanctioned, corporate dumping of medical waste as chemically tainted blood, placenta tissue, & human remains get flushed into our water systems. Five times the FDA failed to see whether the deadly pills were also harming endangered species as they hurt preborn infants. Their willingness to allow women to suffer and even our planet to be polluted just to make a quick sale of deadly drugs will be challenged. The issues with these drugs are piling up,” Hawkins continued.

Funny, the radical Left tells everyone to “believe the science” but when it comes to women and children they throw science out the window in favor of more cash in their pockets.
